Everyday peace and conflict: (un)privileged interactions in Kirkuk, Iraq

Taking as a starting point the conviction that everyday interactions carry potential to be either conflictual or peaceful, this article examines people’s behaviour in deeply divided city of Kirkuk, Iraq. Using historic bazaar Kirkuk site analysis, and through research survey 511 people, it focuses on between Kurds, Arabs Turkmen.
